Delivery experience grounded in data work
Since 2014, our team has delivered analytics and data work across 300+ companies, with substantial experience in oil and gas. We focus on replacing reporting workflows, preserving their business logic and validating the resulting applications against agreed outputs.
We work within the customer's existing data and compute environment and select AI options to fit the requirements. Delivery is scoped to the implementation work, with optional ongoing support.

Based in Aberdeen, Scotland. 45+ years in IT and 30+ in business intelligence for oil and gas. Analytics advisor to Kuwait Oil Company’s production optimization program, formerly ConocoPhillips UK and TIBCO, BI lead for BP and Apache in the North Sea. Advising Blue River customers since 2018.
John Murphy
Data Governance Lead
30+ years in enterprise data management as architect, methodologist and modeler, with 40+ deployments across energy, healthcare, finance, defense and insurance. CDMP certified, Collibra Data Governance Expert, Data Vault practitioner, presenter at DAMA and TDWI. Led data governance and reporting strategy work for Santos Alaska.
John Kibe
Technical Lead
Data engineer with 8+ years building pipelines and cloud data platforms for oil and gas: SCADA and sensor integration, Airflow, Spark, dbt, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift and Snowflake. Technical lead on Santos Alaska data landscape work.
