Below is more information and detail of the EAW components:
Blue River Analytics’ new geo-analytics software creates a seamless integration between Esri maps with Spotfire. Mapalytics™ appears as a native Spotfire control similar in appearance to the Spotfire map chart and includes the most commonly used ArcGIS data creation functionality: dropping new well locations, plotting wells by location, labelling points, creating shape files, and measuring distances. Furthermore, Mapalytics™ plots well locations from the Spotfire data table and eliminates the need for using two separate applications.
Decline Curve Analysis – TERR
Takes production rate information from a Spotfire data table, and performs decline curve fitting using an exponential decline model. Marked wells’ production rate data are averaged to calculate a single ‘type curve’ which is added to the marked well data as an additional well entity. This type curve is also fit with an exponential decline curve. This template also can estimate approximate economics for wells, including the Net Present Value (NPV), Payout and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). Users specify average per-well drilling cost, operating expense and expected product price over time, along with taxes and cost-of-capital assumptions.

Use the advanced modeling power of Spotfire to interactively fit any data to statistical distributions. This application allows the user to select and drill down on any measures and dimensions for analysis through Spotfire’s intuitive interface, and view the statistical or bootstrap fit probability values in a visual environment. Applications include petrophysical modeling, completions analysis, production surveillance, and more.

Takes irregularly-spaced mapped values of any quantity in Spotfire, and performs sophisticated interpolation of these values onto a regular user-defined rectangular grid. Interpolation is preceded by an analysis (called a variogram analysis) of the influence of nearby known values as a function of distance from each interpolated grid point. The template provides the capability to identify any numerical quantity associated with a latitude and longitude, and generates a data table in Spotfire with the interpolated / kriged values associated with the latitudes and longitudes of the grid.

There are two main areas of focus that the template covers. First, is allowing the user to pick an asset they are interested in acquiring, and then analyze said asset to gather valuable answers. The second, is allowing the user to pick an operator they are interested in and comparing that operator to all other operators within the chosen asset.

Energy Data Conduit
A set of programs that regularly download and synchronize your licensed commercial data into a local SQL Server replica database and local file shares. This application also includes a data explorer program, WellFinder, for viewing and extracting from the local replica database.

All Other Products
Blue River Analytics’ Type Curve Template allows users to better identify and analyze wells, activity, and well performance within a specific basin or defined area with the built-in calculations, maps, and plots. The tool then allows the user to develop a customized type curve based on the wells selected for analysis and outputs an EUR. The custom type curve feature allows for a very interactive experience as the type curve overlaying the production plots and the calculated EUR updates on the fly as changes are made to the custom inputs.

The Manager Dashboard application template from Blue River uses frac data, production data, cost data, downtime data, and drilling/completion data to help us analyze wells. As we move through the dashboard we can select a well(s) from our list and quickly see our production over time, forecasts, downtime, costs, and cumulative plots. We can also cross compare our data against each other to look for trends in production vs. variables such as number of frac stages, pounds of sand, etc.

Spotfire makes it easy for everything from standard reporting of variance and profitability to data discovery of important cost trends and outliers.

Geology | GIS
The Blue River Analytics Geology Template is an integrated approach to analyze geologic parameters and well performance in a dynamic centerpiece. Functionality allows for evaluation by wells, facies, formations, leases, operators or other. Data types include LAS logs, zone or facies tops, perforations, core and other downhole data which can all be tied together and queried throughout the project. Applications include detailed facies evaluation, facies identification, perforation or behind pipe evaluation, to name a few. The geology template is 100% customizable to fit users end goals and available data.

The Petrophysical Model application template from Blue River Analytics allows for efficient, flexible and complex analysis of well log data through interactive controls and multi-dimensional displays that mash-up geological and production data. Perform fluid and reservoir calculations from measured values within well log files and adjust key variables with easy-to-use controls. For example, model water saturation by adjusting key variables like gamma ray index and volume of shale. Additionally, use interchangeable a, m, n and Rw parameters for each formation within the water saturation equations.

The ChronoPlayer extension for Spotfire creates animations of data changing over time. Understanding how data changes over time with static visuals is challenging when time can’t be represented on an axis. Filtering data in Spotfire by time intervals can aid in the understanding of chronological progression. As a time interval filter is increased, changes in the data set may be observed. When adjusting filters to view time progression becomes a distraction to understanding the data, ChronoPlayer can help. ChronoPlayer automatically adjusts Spotfire filters to create the effect of animation of data changing over time. By removing the need to manually adjust filters to view time series data, the user can focus exclusively on how the data changes over time.

LAS Log File Loader
The “LAS Loader for Spotfire” utility from Blue River Analytics is designed to help in the rapid preparation of LAS well log files for input to Spotfire. Input files are LAS-formatted well logs, versions 1.1 or 1.2. Columns are selected by an alias curve name from the Well (Information), Parameter and/or Data (ASCII) sections of the LAS well logs.
